Vice President Confers Pt. Haridutt Sharma Award On Anurradha Prasad

The Vice President, Mr. Mohammad Hamid Ansari presenting the “Pt. Haridutt Sharma Jayanti Puraskar“ to Mrs. Anuradha Prasad, at a function, in New Delhi on May 15, 2015. The Union Minister for Railways, Mr. Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu is also seen.
The Vice President of India Mr. Mohd. Hamid Ansari conferred the “Pt. Haridutt Sharma Award“ in the field of Journalism, Writing and Social Services on Mrs. Anurradha Prasad, Editor-in-Chief, News-24 Channel at a function on May 15. Addressing on the occasion, the Vice President opined that the Media persons should always do news reporting in an impartial and responsible manner with objectivity. He congratulated Mrs. Anurradha Prasad for her outstanding contribution in the field of Media and said that she has maintained the dignity of Journalistic profession in her professional career.
Pt. Haridutt Sharma was a renowned journalist and eminent writer. In his memory, this Annual award is given in the field of Journalism, Writing and Social Services for the outstanding contribution in their respective field. The Award consists of Cash prize of Rs. 51000/-, Citation, Trophy, Shawl and Souvenir.
