A farmers delegation calling on the Union Minister for Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information & Broadcasting, Mr. Arun Jaitley, in New Delhi on May 28, 2015. The Minister assured the delegation that their suggestions would be looked into suitably and their interests would not be ignored.
Mr. Arun Jaitley, Minister for Finance, Corporate Affairs and I&B met a farmers´ delegation representing different stakeholders and organisations from across the country. The delegation was led by Mr. Naresh Sirohi on May 28.
The representatives from different organizations gave their views on the Land Bill to the Minister. The Minister assured the delegation that their suggestions would be looked into suitably and their interests would not be ignored. He also asked the leader of the delegation to look into the issues and suggestions made by the representatives on matters related to the Land Bill and submit a report to him.
